Let's talk about Speech and Language Therapy

Initial Assessment

Comprehensive assessment: £700

An in-depth assessment of language and communication (up to 2 hours) or two shorter visits at home and nursery with detailed report and suggested therapy plan.

Standard assessment: £460

To identify speech and language needs at home (up to 1 hour) with short report and therapy plan.

Stammering/Selective mutism assessment package: £550

Includes 3 sessions: 1 hour detailed parent consultation for assessment and history online, plus 1 hour observation of child at school or home plus 40 minutes parent feedback online or by phone with therapy plan and tailored written recommendations.

Additional assessment of the child or parent consultation time if required will be charged at usual sessional rates below.

Assessment of articulation, lisp, or mild speech sound production difficulty only: £300

Report for speech sound assessment: £160 if required

Therapy

Individual

Individual therapy sessions with SLT: £120.00

Carried out at home, nursery or school. Sessions usually last 50 minutes.

Includes booked online or phone consultations and attendance at meetings.

Block Discount : £115.00 per session.

We offer a discount of £5 per session when a block of 6 or more therapy sessions is paid at least one week in advance of the first session.

Other costs

Travel: £75 per hour

Included for visits local to New Malden KT3 . Clients will be notified of costs in advance.

Parking fees charged at cost

Reports and Referral forms: £100 per hour

Cancellations

One week’s notice is required for cancellations, so that the session can be offered to another client. Cancellation fees apply when less than 48 working hours’ notice is given. Our full terms and conditions are available on request.

Thank you very much for the advice and tips you gave to our family. Our son has improved a lot since our meeting last month. The approach with giving him space to express himself, follow his lead and interact on things he finds interesting, did miracles! We could see big changes with him spontaneously saying words at only one week afterwards. In the last month he’s had an explosion of words, singing, enjoying imitating and making all sort of new sounds. We are very happy that he is making progress and to be honest we don’t worry that much anymore.
